Adgen Energy is a renewable energy project development company, formed to develop and finance renewable energy plants across the UK.

Development
We have a proven development, finance, design, construction and operations team. We have been responsible for multiple UK projects ranging from the 45,000 tonne BiogenGreenfinch Westwood food waste AD plant, through industrial-scale bioethanol schemes, to the Newcastle University farm-scale research facility.

Plants in Partnership
We have the capability of acting in various capacities from Design & Build to full Finance - Design - Build - Own & Operate, and can therefore partner with existing developers or those who have sources of feedstock.

Financial stability and scalability
Adgen Energy has raised a fund to allow us to build own and operate a portfolio of major AD plants over the next three years, and has access to further funding for larger energy projects.

Launch of Tamar Energy

21 February 2012: Tamar Energy Limited has been capitalised with £63.5m of equity and merged with Adgen Energy Limited. The transaction brings together a wide group of UK and international blue chip partners and investors. This is a major endorsement of our highly skilled team, the projects under development and will enable us to fulfil our vision to build a network of biogas plants across the UK.
